Importing spot path

Spot importer is a tool to generate Spot Weld paths from data generated by external source.

Spot importer provides a comprehensive set of keywords that can be used to determine spot weld locations and related data from process parameters to via point locations and external axis data.

Only mandatory fields are spot weld Position X, -Y and -Z values in part coordinates. Spot importer will define surface normal automatically from CAD model. Surface normal will give a correct orientation for the spot point. All the other parameters / keywords are to define more detailed data for the importer for each point.

  1. Click on the import spot tool.
  2. Browse the .csv file that contains the information related to spot path on the workpiece.
  3. All the spot paths will be successfully imported on the workpiece.
  4. You can use the Path check tool to check if there are any problems in the path.
